Sexual Relations / Dating
Once we have filed an action for legal separation or divorce on your behalf, you and your spouse should no longer engage in sexual intercourse with one another. The court may consider such sexual activity a reconciliation and dismiss your case. That would require you to incur the expense of beginning the case again and the loss of your position on the court's trial docket. However, you may continue to live under the same roof pending the Final Decree.
You are still married until the judge grants a divorce. Do not date or have sexual relations with others during the divorce proceedings; doing so may be to the detriment of your case.
